i was in love was when he kissed me….
when you love someone there are so many moments
woven together to create the texture of your lives…
the first glance…the first smile…and oh the first kiss…we met one night many years ago….when did i realize my life would never be quite the same?? it’s hard to say for sure…there were so many moments that tugged at my heart….the moment i knew i had met someone special, was when he called me the morning after we met for the first time….the moment i knew i was in big trouble, was right after he kissed me for the first time….and so it went…moment after moment of our lives…and the moments full of love are the one’s that i cherish….they change of course with the tone & tenure of our life together…it used to be waiting for the phone to ring & romance…now its bath time for three babies & scrambled eggs in the morning….i still love to hear his voice on the other end of the phone….i love the moment just after our children are all asleep in their beds & we are for a split second falling in love for the first time all over again….then there’s the moment just before we fall alseep, hand in hand….and then morning gently comes all over again….so what it is the sweetest moment of all?? i think the moment i knew for sure that he was the one, was the first night i cooked dinner for him….he kissed my cheek & said “mmmm, that smells good”….it felt like home…he felt like home….now, i don’t cook every night but when i do i still love the way he looks at me….we are….home….and the best part is that our family dinners are illuminated by the chandelier we stood under when we exchanged vows at our wedding….
so what was the moment you knew??
did he look at you a special way?? was it your first date?? first kiss??
every moment you have together is a memory in the making….
your home is truly one of the most special places on earth….
i highly recommend family dinners…whether you are newly weds,
sitting at a table for two or a full house…sit together…
share a laugh…break bread…
and create another moment….

And "the moment I knew" she was sitting across the table after taking home-made lasagna out of the oven. With a shy smile, and the wonderful aroma i knew there was no where else i wanted to be that night.
I knew my fiance was the one the first time we spent time alone together. He took me to the movies as a present (it was around the holidays and we were still just friends) and we spent the entire movie talking (quietly!) to each other. Then on the ride home we drove through the first snowfall of the season. We were almost back to my place, when the conversation paused for a minute and he turned to me and asked when I was breaking up with my boyfriend (now ex, obviously). I broke it off the next day and I’ve been with my fiance ever since! :)
My exciting registry is here: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2611639/registry-list.html
I added several things to my registry (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2613497/registry-list.html) today, including Le Creuset Round Dutch Oven, 5 1/2-Qt., Red. (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products_g/1213081/?registryId=2613497&fromrgl=1)
And slicers for mangoes and peaches.
Item added: Peugeot u’Select Daman Acrylic Salt & Pepper Mills
The moment I knew: it was when i made breakfast for him one morning...it was a SUPER rich cream cheese French toast marinated overnight recipe...and he (and i) ate every last bite.
I knew I wanted to marry him when I walked across a crowded room and in front of everyone he told me I was ravishing... and couldn't take his eyes off me the rest of the evening.
My registry only has one item... because I want it so very badly. :)

The moment I knew....
...was on our first date when he cooked for me! I LOVE to cook and as my friends will all tell you, I'm always the one in the kitchen. So, when he was cooking for me and was so cute and nervous about it, I melted. We had an amazing dinner that night and two years later are still cooking together and sharing amazing meals every night!
This is my williams-sonoma registry and I'm crossing my fingers for the chance to win!! I added the KitchenAid Stand Mixer Pasta Roller Attachment!!

I remember opening the door and all at once, everything about him filled all of my senses ; I saw an amazingly handsome, dark-haired man with warm green eyes in a dark collared shirt, smile. I felt him gently grab my hand and my heart stopped in the moment between the touch and when his lips ever so gently kissed the top of my palm. As he leaned in, the intoxicating smell that defines each individual, first hit my nose. Then I heard him say, with just a bit of nerves in his voice, "you look beautiful".
I will never forget how his entire being in that moment so deeply ingrained in my mind forever. I still get a bit of butterflies when my love holds my hand and I breathe in - that smell, that touch, that voice that are only his - and I savor the moment and remember back to that day I first knew I loved him.
I cant wait to marry this amazing man and hope that as I stand on the alter, that I remember to close my eyes and breathe, just for a moment, allowing that moment, too, to become ingrained in my mind and soul forever.
xox
The moment I knew was when I realized there was noone else I'd rather be with on a lazy weekend afternoon.
xoxo
Once the 9 pm curfew kicked in and people began to leave he asked me to come to another party. After our first kiss, which quickly led to the second I knew I was done. I was consumed. The next day we spoke on the phone and hearing his voice I knew it was different. That day was our first date and I knew. I knew it was fast and perfect and I didn't tell a soul. It was the best secret I have ever kept. We have been together since that night we meet. Now five years later and married it is no longer a secret and oh so wonderful.
Thanks for the chance to win - we'd love to shop Williams Sonoma!
Forgot to mention I added the pasta attachment to my registry. Thanks!

I am really excited about the Duraclear pina colada glasses on my registry.

The "moment I knew" was when we met. It was New Years Eve 2006, and we met at 11 pm. We stayed up all night talking, and I just had a feeling that he was the one. Sure enough, we brought in the New Year together, and by the next New Year, we were husband and wife.
The moment I knew was when we were apart for a month after graduation. We had been together for about a year, and I had just moved to a new town. He was in Europe, traveling with friends. I was unsure how often we would speak or what would happen to us. He texted and called at least once a day, and I found myself falling more in love with him, if that was possible. By the time he was about to come home, we were talking even more, and once he made it back to the States, it was smooth sailing from there. That month was when it became apparent to me that he was the one.
I added the Le Creuset Round Dutch Oven, 7 1/4-Qt. in Cassis to my registry... so happy W-S is carrying this deep purple color now!
And our registry is here: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2519480/registry-list.html
I knew my husband was the one when we were sitting on the sofa watching "Some Like it Hot" together, it we had only been seeing each other for a couple of months at the time, and it just felt so real I knew that this is what i wanted to be doing with him years from now. We were enjoying an old black and white film together on a Friday night, cuddled up on the sofa together. There was no where else I wanted to be, but there in his arms.

My wife would've certainly written a novel if she were to answer 'the moment' question...however I want to dedicate this to her as our two year anniversary is coming up soon. It might not be a novel but my moment was when I first saw her, heard her speak, her gentle mannerisms. I just knew that I needed to get to know her... .... hearing her say yes was the best thing that ever happened to me!
I would LOVE to win this, I created a registry, and if I win this gift card is going toward getting me a KitchenAid Stand mixer, yay! I've wanted one for so long.
Here is my registry:

I would love to win this and just created our registry. We are going to start adding items together this week!!
Here is our registry thus far:

https://secure.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2549514/manage-registry-list.html
And I added the
* Le Creuset Teakettle, Dune
To my registry, so that my hunny and I can drink tea every night together and talk about our day and our future days together.
I knew the moment I met him. My eyes locked his deep green eyes and time stood still. My insides shook, I was scared to admit what had just happened but two days later when I ran into him again I immediately sat down and introduced myself. He, on the other hand, knew I was the one after we lost our two year old kitten from a sudden illness. We were the only ones who understood how we felt and knew that we wanted to share that union for the rest of our lives.
It's my fiance's favorite store. I just added the Adjustable Burger Press, because we love to grill and sit outside for dinner.
I knew he was the one the first morning we moved in together. He leaves for work about 30 minutes before me. When I went to the kitchen, I saw a cute note, my coffee cup, freshly brewed coffee and a pastry set out for me to start my day. He is so thoughtful and loves to show how much he loves me.
Then I struggled against this feeling, despite I knew I couldn't win because I thought he was such a great person, so good, so perfect, that he would never date someone like me... Silly me, blind me, when 4 months after he had returned and we said what we felt for each other, he told me that he was in love with me even before the day I realized I loved him... I thought that couldn't be possible, but there he was opening his heart to me and telling me he had loved me for longer than I thought... n_n
We still don't have a registry because we are not planning to get married yet, but I know one day we will. He is all I need, all I ever wanted, and we will last forever. That I know now, and hope this feeling will never change, ever.
You're blog is so awesome, thanks for sharing with us all these candid moments from all those lovely couples. Thanks.
Greetings from Barcelona
In the case of my husband, I was already falling for him, so when he used my nickname, I just melted...that was it! <3

I knew he was the one... when my fiance (then early boyfriend) stood on the steps of my brownstone with a 6 feet bouquet of birthday flowers. He couldn't quite understand why all the florists in NYC gave him a confused look when he asked for magnolias. Until finally one of the florists agreed to special order them from South Carolina, and he he picked them up a few days later.
Little did he know my favorite flower - the magnolia (a delicate, fragrant flower that sweetly reminds me of home) grows on long silvery branches... basically a tree.
The poor guy had to lug the too tall bouquet through the Lower East Side, onto the subway, and walk it to my apartment. I loved him at hello, but I loved him more then.

i knew he was the one... the first time i saw him laugh! i totally fell for him.
And ah...I knew on our second date when we shared coffee and talked about the most beautiful places we'd ever been..and he asked me to go with him some day. Since I met him, he has been the only one I've ever wanted to be with.

I knew he was meant to be mine when my mom said that she'd never seen anyone look at me the way he does. Can't beat that kind of sweetness.

Already was registered with Williams-Sonoma, but added a set of stemware! http://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2619767/registry-list.html
The moment I knew was when we met in person and it was like all the lights got turned on in a dark baseball stadium. Kaboom!
Just started my registry: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/registry/2627191/registry-list.html
i am all registered.
i knew before my husband knew. and he knew before i knew he knew!
i have literally loved my husband since i was 16. it was then that i told God i wanted to marry him. it was on a group trip he helped lead to mexico working with orphaned children. his interaction with these little ones was so precious...he exemplified such a strength in his leadership and the way he carried children on his shoulders endlessly. yet, there was such a tenderness about him in his servant's heart and kinds words. as i said, i was only 16 and he was 21...which seemed like ages apart to a silly, teenage girl...
but i knew.
and four years later, he told me he knew too... that he had known for awhile.
one year after he told me he knew, we became one. i am ever blessed.
there is the link :)
