whether you are barefoot or in the perfect pair of high heels, pregnancy is one of the most life changing experiences a woman will go through in her life…..it is so important to embrace your ever evolving body and pay attention to every minute…because although it may seem like you are pregnant forever, it is really  not that long….and there is something so sweet, so peaceful about the little bundle inside you….so eat, sleep and treasure the days of random cravings, restless evenings trying to get comfortable and endless trips to the restroom….believe it or not, you’ll miss it…well parts of it anyway….so rub your belly & count your blessings….or better yet, take a nap….as they say, if mama’s happy….everyone’s happy…..

julie & ian’s stunning wedding is one of my favorites…they were married at the beautiful firestone vineyard in santa ynez…their style was so elegant and casual…..they exchanged vows in a field under a hupa…and ate their wedding supper in the barn adorned with  chandeliers hanging from the beams above….a truly beautiful celebration…..

“There, at the edge of the sea, I forgot people were watching….like the sky forgot to rain and rested with purple.  A runaway drop shrank to the size of the mole on his bottom lip, where my lips wanted to rest.  Give me a kiss, I whispered….Not time yet.  Shared vows….Bowed heads…. Family and friends from cushioned benches said, ‘Amen’.  Love warm in my chest….Lace dress pressed against his clean cream suit. I forgot again….Now, it is time.”

Liara & Antonio McDyess were married in Cuixmala, a private estate on the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Mexico.  The estate of 25,000 acres of land, lagoons and beaches and several stunning villas, is truly a breathtaking & magical location. Their wedding was planned by the amazing Lisa Vorce  of Oh, How Charming! Liara, a writer, married the love of her life, Antonio, a basketball player for the Detroit Pistons, in a stunning seaside ceremony. Their wedding in Cuixmala was featured in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine They have a special ease and grace about them and make a simple beautiful couple.

The day after their nuptials…..Liara & Antonio celebrated with friends and family with a beach day barbeque….the newlyweds enjoyed the ocean water on the hot mexican afternoon….their joy was infectious, a perfect ending to a perfect wedding weekend.
